Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, admitted to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh following chest congestion and fever, was on Tuesday shifted out of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following improvement in his condition.
A team of doctors attending on Badal shifted him from the ICU to a private room following a “remarkable and consistent” improvement in his health, a spokesperson for the CM’s office said in Chandigarh.
