90 paintings made by school students on display

 Punjab Public School Nabha, in collaboration with Omaxe Art Gallery organised an art exhibition here on Saturday.

Nearly 90 paintings made by school students, including former students, were displayed. The exhibition was titled "Art of blooming buds".

Divisional commissioner Ajeet Singh Pannu inaugurated the exhibition.

School headmaster Jagpreet Singh said that the idea behind the exhibition was to encourage the talent of students and to raise awareness and appreciation about such artistic pursuits.

Muslims protest illegal control of graveyard land

Hundreds of Muslims, on Wednesday, held a protest with the body of deceased Pritam Khan, alleging that they didn't have land for the graveyard in Kakran village of Bhawanigarh sub-division of the district as the graveyard land had been illegally occupied by some people.
