He said with his elevation the entire party is now energised. "With his vision, Rahul Gandhi had earlier given an opportunity to me and several thousands of youth to come forward and serve the party, society and the nation," Bittu said.

He added that as India has majority of youth population, the youth of the country will get their due in politics as Rahul has always promoted a mix of youth and experience for the development of the nation.

He expressed hope that with the AICC vice-president taking up more important and bigger responsibility in the party, the youth of the country will certainly get more opportunities not only in politics but also in other areas to serve the nation.
