Class 12 results: Achievers give credit to family, teachers

Niharika Singla of Guru Teg Bahadur Public School, Dhuri, and Virat Bansal of DAV Public School, Sunam, are among those students from the district, who have scored well in the CBSE Class 12 examination.


Niharika got 96.2 per cent marks in non-medical stream, whereas Virat got 96 per cent marks in the non-medical stream.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Niharika gives credit to her school teachers and her family members for her achievement. "I studied almost 8 to10 hours every day and I am happy that my hard work has helped me to achieve my target," said Niharika, adding that: "I want to become an IAS officer. Now I am preparing to get admission in B.Sc in Delhi University."

Virat Bansal, son of Sunam-based commission agent Devinder Kumar Bansal, is the student of DAV Public School, Sunam. Virat gives credit to his family and his teachers for his achievement.

Virat, who wants to pursue B.Tech  at the IIT Roorkie or at the IIT, Guwahati, is also expecting good rank in the entrance examination.
