Yes, I do agree that men and boys eve-tease girls for time pass. The reason is that over the years we have groomed our daughters in a better way and given them the same opportunity as men; however, the vice-versa happed. Women today are way stronger and independent, but men are still the same. The cases of harassment are still the same, the only difference is that now theses are reported.

Idle mind is devil's workshop; most of the youth are unemployed and instead of concentrating on studies or trying to find jobs, they indulge in activities like eve-teasing as pass time. The reason for increasing sexual harassment cases is that women feel that they cannot fight out men. Not reporting of sexual cases earlier has somewhere increased the confidence of culprits and that is why the number of cases have increased over the years.

Ego clash between both the genders is one of the reasons for increasing sexual harassment cases these days. Females have become more bold and independent now, which males find hard to digest. Therefore, to satisfy their false ego they harass women. Vengeance is too much prevalent in today's youth. There is need to change the mindset of people; both the genders must realise each other's importance and dignity.

Girls incite men, too; they do not dress appropriately in public places and even indulge in teasing men. If females start avoiding males, they would not trouble them. Instead of picking up good things from western culture, the youth today is aping all the vices. Women have always been subjected to harassment. Earlier they never spoke about it, now they do.

Yes, do incite men and girls themselves are responsible for increasing number of sexual harassment cases. Nowadays' girls have become bolder, but they do not realise the consequences of the outrage of their modesty. In order to ape the western culture, they have forgotten their own roots and traditions. They are neither westernised nor are they traditional anymore.

Women can't be blamed for sexual harassment cases, no female enjoys being victimised and assaulted. People often say women who wear western clothes entice men, but we have experienced that even girls who wear traditional clothes are harassed publicly. Reason for increase in number of harassment cases is due to lack of support for females even at their home.

Parents give too much freedom to their boys. For them troubling a girl is more of a time-pass activity. People are becoming insensitive day-by-day, and nobody speaks or fights for a lady if she is being harassed in front of them. Parents feel it's better to make girls sit at home rather than allowing them to study because of fear of harassment.

Blaming girls for eve-teasing is like giving men a right to trouble them. No female enjoys inviting trouble for her own self. If a female is wearing western clothhttp://www.hindustantimes.com/Images/Popup/2013/11/20131125_BB_Gurpreet Kaur _compressed.jpges or is bold that doesn't mean she is a toy that anybody can play with. The reason for increase in number of harassment cases is due people losing their moral values.
