Woman booked after RPO's complaint

Following a complaint by the Chandigarh regional passport officer, the Amloh police on Tuesday registered a case against Gurdev Kaur, wife of Tangrala village resident Ajaib Singh, under Section 12 of the Passport Act, 1967.


According to the complaint, the accused obtained two passports by giving separate addresses. The case is being investigated.

Bhagwant meets UK deputy high commissioner

Aam Aadmi Party leader and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann on Thursday met British deputy high commissioner to north-west India David Lelliott and sought his support on the issue of students falling victim to fake travel agents.
