Gagan Sharma, a BSc airlines tourism and hospitality management (ATHM) student of 2010-13 batch at Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE), has won gold medal in the Punjab Technical University examinations.

He stood first in the university with 85.5% marks. Another student Mandeep Kaur Chahal of the same batch won silver medal and stood second whereas Divya Jagga won bronze medal and stood third.

Buoyed by the success, Gagan said: “I gave my 100% in the examination and, I thank God my teachers and parents for this success. Accomplishing a university position and winning a gold medal in the university requires dedicated hard work.”

Congratulating the students, KNS Kang, director general of the PCTE Group of Institutes, said it was the hard work and commitment that had paid all of them.
