Following a complaint by a local resident of hurting religious sentiments, the City police on Sunday sent a notice to Radhe Maa alias Sukhwinder Kaur on her Mumbai address to join the investigation in 10 days.
According to information, Surinder Mittal on August 13 wrote to Kapurthala SSP Rajinder Singh, demanding the registration of a case against Radhe Maa for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus by spreading vulgarity and for threatening him.
Confirming this, the SSP said the police had asked Radhe Maa to join the investigation. He said the police would also investigate the call details and text messages in which Mittal claimed to have been threatened by Radhe Maa.
Mittal claimed that he was threatened by Radhe Maa on phone when he was trying to expose her. "I have the call recordings and copy of the text messages in which she has threatened me," he claimed.
According to information, Mittal has procured documents through the RTI and claimed to be helping Nikki Gupta, a resident of Mumbai, who was allegedly being harassed by Radhe Maa, in exposing her.
"From April 9 to 30, I had received so many calls from Radhe Maa, her sister Rajinder Kaur, servant Ritu Sareen and daughter-in-law Megha Singh," he alleged.
He alleged that she even offered him huge money, which he refused following which she allegedly started threatening him.
In his letter, Mittal has attached the call recordings and text message prints and demanded the registration of a case against Radhe Maa, Rajinder Kaur, Ritu Sareen, Megha Singh and Sanjiv Gupta, all residents of Radhe Maa Bhawan in Mumbai.
