Punjab Institute of Technology (PIT) Mansa, a constituent institute of PTU Jalandhar, has announced another chance for students to apply for BTech (Integrated 6-year course).
Now, interested 10th pass students can apply participation in an on-the-spot counselling on June 14. Dr Buta Singh Sidhu, dean academics PTU-cum-officiating director of PIT Mansa said here on Wednesday.
Dr Singh said that in this course, 30 percent of total seats have been reserved for the students belonging to villages and studying in their schools.
Forms related to admission have been available on the website of PIT Mansa www.pitm.ac.in and in Nehru Memorial College. Students can also fill the form on June 14. Dr Buta Singh added that students who have passed their 10th examination from rural areas and want to tale part in PIT would be granted exemption from tuition fee.
He also said that the advantage of this scheme would benefit those whose school fees is equivalent or less than government school and annual income of the family is below Rs 2.5 lakh.
