Owing to protests against the Aamir Khan-starrer ‘PK’ in Haryana, a cinema hall is Sirsa is screening the movie under the police protection.

OHM Cinema has been running eight shows of ‘PK’ a day from December 19. During all the shows police personnel were deployed on the cinema hall premises.

Following protests in Kurukshetra, Karnal, Kaithal, Rohtak and Hisar, managements of cinema halls had decided to stop the screening of the movie after Bajrang Dal and Hindu Jagran Manch served an ultimatum on them to stop shows or be ready to face agitation.

OHM Cinema manager Pankaj Khemka said, “When the censor board has given clearance to ‘PK’, it’s our duty to screen the movie. There is no conflict here. However, the movie screening is going under the Ding police protection.”

He added that ‘PK’ is getting a huge response and all the shows are running houseful. It will be screened next week as well, he added.
