Police on Wednesday recovered the headless body of a six-year-old girl who went missing from Rama Mandi on November 29.

Jaspreet Kaur, a student of Government Elementary School, was reportedly playing outside her house in the evening when she was allegedly abducted.

Her father, Sukhdev Singh, a driver, sounded the police the next morning after the family failed to find the girl.

Police have reportedly rounded up a few suspects. Rama Mandi SHO Sikander Singh said, “The post-mortem will be conducted at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot. We have been working on all angles.”
