Police commissioner to redress complaints of city residents on Jan 3

Police commissioner Nirmal Singh Dhillon along with deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Harsh Kumar Bansal and other officials will redress pending complaints of the city residents on January 3. The police have decided to hold complaint redressal camp at Shagun Palace near Baba Than Singh Chowk.


Additional deputy commissioner of police (ADCP) City-1 Nilambari Jagdale, assistant commissioner of police (ACP) central Deepak Helori, ACP (north) Raj Kumar Jalhotra would also hear complaints of the people.

The police commissioner called on the residents of city to come personally for the redressal of their complaints. He also said the people could also send their complaints through their representatives.

In the camp, people having complaints pending at the Division Number 1, Division Number 2, Division Number 3, Division Number 4, Division Number 6, Salem Tabri and Daresi police stations could come to Shagun Palace, where the top officials would hear their complaints.

The police have issued help line numbers 0161-414948 and 98726-91870 in this context.

It is pertinent that the Division Number 1 police station, Division Number 4 police station and Salem Tabri police station held a complaint redressal camp at the Division Number 1 station on Monday. In the camp, 102 complaints out of 128 were disposed off. The complaints were lying pending for a long time.
