Prof Davinder Singh is new Khalsa College registrar

Prof Davinder Singh, senior professor in the department of political science, was appointed registrar of the Khalsa College, Amritsar, on Wednesday.


Prof Singh, who is also dean of cultural affairs, took charge in the presence of college principal Dr Daljit Singh. He thanked the principal and management for showing faith in his abilities.

Dr Daljit said that Prof Davinder had proven his skills in administration and he was a dedicated teacher who was always committed to the development and welfare of the college.

The principal also said that the responsibility of the important post had been entrusted to him in recognition of his past services.

Prof Davinder assured that he would do his best to run the college administration.

Those present at the installation ceremony included former registrar Dr Baljinder Singh, Prof NB Singh, Prof Arshad, Prof Bhupinder Singh, Prof Deepak Devgan and Prof Harbhajjan Singh Randhawa.
