PSEB Class 10 exams begin, education officers find no cheating case

As many as 17 flying squad teams checked the examination centres on Friday and no case of using unfair means during the exam was surfaced. However, last year seven cases were reported on the first day of exam.
In 2013, also five students were caught cheating during the Class X exams.
The district education officer, secondary, Paramjit Kaur Chahal, deputy DEOs Charanjit Singh and Ashish Kumar and DEO, elementary, Gurjot Singh checked the examination centres.
The exam was conducted at 312 examination centres and 4,700 teachers were deputed on duty.
Talking to Hindustan Times, DEO, secondary, Paramjit Kaur Chahal, said, “The exam was conducted smoothly at all the examination centres and our teams have checked the centres. No complaint and cheating case is reported and we have also deputed observers at a few examination centres.”
No cheating case reported including 10th and 12th.
