On allegations against her brother and former revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia of his involvement in drug trade, Harsimrat said: “Why has the Congress government not raided the alleged drug factory in Majitha?”

The Union minister also lambasted the Congress government for not fulfilling its promises to farmers. She said here ministry will launch Kisan Sampada Yojana to promote food processing units throughout the nation.

“The beneficiaries will be directly incentivised by the Centre, with the state governments playing no role in it,” she said. She said two food parks have already been inaugurated in Punjab and seven new cold storage clusters will be developed soon.
