Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Sunday mourned the demise of Brij Bedi, husband of former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kiran Bedi. Brij, a renowned photographer and social activist, passed away after brief illness. Recalling the services rendered by Brij Bedi in his two roles, the CM said that he would ever be remembered by the people for his philanthropic deeds and commitment to serving the mankind. He also shared his sympathies with the bereaved family. Deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal also expressed grief over Bedi’s death.
