Punjab governor Badnore pays tributes to martyrs in Ferozepur

Governor of Punjab, VPS Badnore paid tributes to martyrs’ Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at their national memorial in Hussainiwala, 10km from Ferozepur.

Accompanied by commissioner of Ferozepur and Faridkot divisions VK Meena, Badnore also paid tributes to martyr BK Dutt and Punjab Mata (Bhagat Singh’s mother Vidhyavati).

“It was my desire to visit this sacred place,” stated Badnore. “Because of the sacrifices of martyrs we are living in a free country and enjoying every benefits of a developing nation,” he remarked. In the meantime, local MP Sher Singh Ghubaya, MP and former CPS Sukhpal Singh Nannu introduced sarpanches and representatives of border area villages and shared their problems with the governor. Later on governor interacted with the BSF jawans.

IG BSF Anil Paliwal, DIG Ferozepur Range RS Khatra, DIG BSF Sriapan PV, deputy commissioner, Ferozepur DPS Kharbanda, SSP Ferozepur RK Bakshi and Commandant BSF JS Virti accompanied the governor.
