Punjab govt orders transfer of 31 PPS officers

Punjab Police on Tuesday transferred 31 Punjab Police Service (PPS) officers.

Balbir Singh has been posted as SP (investigation), Kapurthala; Bahadur Singh as SP (headquarters), Kapurthala; Jagatpreet Singh as SP (headquarters), Sangrur; Ajinder Singh as SP (headquarters), Phagwara; Baljit Singh as SP (investigations), Muktsar; Kesar Singh as SP (headquarters) Mansa; Tilak Raj as SP (headquarters), SBS Nagar; Arshdeep Singh as SP (detective), Dera Bassi; and Rattan Singh Brar has been posted as additional commissioner, police traffic, Ludhiana.

Rajbir Singh has been posted as SP (headquarters), Ferozepur; Amarjit Singh as SP (investigation), Faridkot; Dilbag Singh as SP (headquarters), Batala; Amarjit Singh as SP (I), Moga; Harjit Singh as ADCP traffic, Amritsar City; Sukhpal Singh as ADCP, industrial security, Ludhiana; Harinderjit Singh as assistant commandant, 80th battalion, PAP, Jalandhar; Balraj Singh as assistant commandant, 36th Battalion, PAP, Bahadurgarh; Balkar Singh as ADCP (investigations), Ludhiana; Ashwani Kumar as assistant commandant, 75 battalion, PAP, Jalandhar Cantt; Narinder Pal as assistant commandant, 2nd Commando Battalion, Bahadurgarh; Vinod Kumar as assistant commandant, Second India Reserve Battalion (IRB), Ladha Kothi, Sangrur; and Tarun Rattan has been posted as SP (headquarters), Fatehgarh Sahib.
