Punjab has lost one generation to militancy and it is now losing another to drugs, said AAP leader Yogendra Yadav, who was in Kotkapura (Faridkot) on Friday.

Appealing the people to vote wisely, Yadav said, “The elections happen every five years, but the time and opportunity to change the fate of country does not come repeatedly.”

“One, convey this message to everybody that those who distribute liquor, they would suck the blood of your children and those who distribute money to get votes, would exploit and loot you for the next five years. So do not let it happen,” said Yadav, adding that the people were fed up with the SAD-BJP and they weren’t seeing any option in Congress either.

“There is a wave for AAP in Punjab. We are in position to win four to five seats in Punjab, including the Fairkdot seat. I have never seen such a wave, particularly in favour of a new party in Punjab in the last 30 years. There would be a miracle in Punjab during these elections,” asserted the AAP leader.

Yadav informed that his party would work for more employment opportunities, besides saving the youth of Punjab from drug menace.

On Gujarat government’s reluctance to withdraw the case against Punjabi farmers in Supreme Court, Yadav said that AAP would get justice for the farmers on priority basis if his party won the elections.
