Punjabi Univ postpones examinations scheduled for Dec 19

Punjabi University has rescheduled its examination which was to be held on December 19.

The university has postponed the examination due to a protest by associations of principals, teachers and non-teaching employees of grant-in-aid colleges of Chandigarh.

However, the timings and the venue of the examinations will remain the same. According to the new schedule, the examinations of BCom, BSc, BSc (biotechnology and industrial microbiology), BSc agriculture, BCA (Semester 3), BCom professional (Semester 5), BSc (computer science, statistics and mathematics), BSc computer applications and management (Semester 1), will be held on December 21.

Meanwhile, papers of MA humanities, MA education (Semester 3), MSc fashion designs and technology, BEd (Semester 1) have been rescheduled for December 20.

The examinations of MSc (Semester 3) are now slated for December 26 and MCom (Semester 1) for December 24.

Meanwhile, the controller of examinations Pawan Kumar Singla has directed students to visit the university website and departments concerned for regular updates.
