Rail union block railway lines in protest against railway authorities

Protesting against railway authorities for not providing them required medical facilities, the members of Northern Railway Men’s Union (NRMU) and Uttariya Railway Majdoor Union jointly stopped the trains near Ludhiana railway station for more than two hours on Saturday. Thousands of passengers were stranded as the traffic on Delhi-Amritsar railway lines were badly disrupted with the on-going protest.
