Describing Gujarat chief minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as the right person to lead the country, yoga guru Baba Ramdev said that he would launch a nationwide door-to-door campaign to garner support for Modi.
Baba Ramdev, who was here on Tuesday to attend a function of yoga gurus, said that on the Bharat Swabhiman Sthapana Divas on January 5 in New Delhi, Modi would divulge his agenda and policies for all-around development of the country in the run up to general elections.
Calling Modi a 'loh purush', Ramdev said that a revolution was needed to weed out Congress from the country and Modi had all the qualities to do so.
Ramdev said that the country has been robbed by the Gandhi family as several scams worth crores have come out during the UPA government's tenure of 10 years. He said that the UPA government had done nothing for the country and claimed that Modi was solution of all problems being faced by the common man in the fields of agriculture, education and health.
Ramdev said that his followers would also hold a 'Yoga Mahotsav' on March 23 in New Delhi at Ram Leela Ground and people in lakhs would participate in this mahotsav.
The yoga guru didn't even spare New Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and said that Kejriwal didn't stick to his promise of neither lending nor taking support from any party. He also passed comments against Anna Hazare.
Baba said Kejriwal cannot be counted one of the leaders of Modi'stature.
Baba failed to give any answer when asked about the failure of BJP to respond to letters of Arvind Kejriwal, when he wrote to both Congress and BJP for seeking support to form a government.
