The special investigation team (SIT) of Haryana Police now has found a 7.62-mm pistol, 3 magazines, a 0.32-bore revolver, and its 13 live cartridges from the premises of the Hisar dera head who is under arrest for picking up arms against the state. The weapons were in a room beneath the chair from which the sect leader preached.
On other new things seized are five petrol bombs, as many buckets of inflammable material, 5,000 sticks, 32 helmets, and three acid pistons.
"Nearly 150 black commando fatigues, catapults, 1,000 marbles, and 50 mobile-phone sets were the other finds of the day," said a police spokesman.
Rampal is charged with murder, attempt to murder, sedition, rioting, illegal detention, and other offences. Five women and an infant died in the standoff between his followers and the security forces last week.
