Rice miller brothers booked for misbehaving with FCI officials

The Dehlon police have registered a case against two brothers for obstructing the Food Corporation of India (FCI) officials from carrying out their duty on Monday.

The Dehlon police have registered a case against two brothers for obstructing the Food Corporation of India (FCI) officials from carrying out their duty on Monday.

The accused have been identified as Rakesh Pandey and his brother Rajesh Pandey of Narayan Pandey Rice Mills, Phallewal village in Jodhan.

The case was registered on the complaint of Avtar Singh, who is the FCI depot manager at Qila Raipur.

In his complaint Avtar Singh alleged that Pandey brothers used to store paddy in the FCI godown. He alleged that the accused wanted to store poor quality paddy in the godown and when he, along with other officials, refused to receive poor-quality paddy, the accused started abusing them.

ASI Tara Singh at police station Dehlon said a case under sections 353, 186, 506 and 34 of IPC had been registered against the accused. The accused are absconding and efforts are on to nab them.
