Rlys to ply 2 special trains to Beas from May 16

With summer vacations round the corner and people making plans to travel, the railway authorities are going to run two summer special trains for Beas from May 16 in order to clear the extra rush of passengers from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Beas (04911/04912) and from Saharanpur to Beas 04917/04918).


Railways have set a schedule of nine trips consisting 11 sleeper class, five general class and two second class-cum-luggage van coaches, the 04911/04912 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Beas-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express, that will stop at New Delhi and Sabzi Mandi stations enroute in both directions.

As the 04911 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Beas Express special train will make two trips from Hazrat Nizamuddin and will depart at 7:40pm on May 16 to reach Beas.

The train will reach Beas at 4:20am, on May 17. While returning, 04912 Beas-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express special trains would depart from Beas at 6.55 pm on May 19 and June 2 to reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 4:20am May 20.

The other train, 04917 Saharanpur to Beas Express special train will depart from Saharanpur at 10:40 pm on May 17, 24 and 31 to reach Beas at 4:40 am, on May 18.

Meanwhile, in the return direction, 04918 Beas-Saharanpur Express special train will depart from Beas at 4:30 pm on May 19 and June 2 to reach Saharanpur at 10:40 pm, the same day.

Station superintendent Ravinder Kumar Sharma said, "Apart from running special trains, a number of regular trains have been asked to enhance the passenger carrying capacity of the trains during the summer season for Beas. It will also help to manage the extra rush during the Beas Dheras."
