SAD announces new team for youth wing

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) announced its new team of Youth Akali Dal (YAD) for Malwa Zone-3 here on Wednesday. Punjab irrigation minister Sharanjeet Singh Dhillon announced the names of the new members.

This time the urban area has been divided into three parts.

Gurpreet Singh Babbal has been appointed president of Ludhiana Urban -1 that includes areas of Ludhiana west and Atam Nagar constituencies while Gurdeep Singh Gosha is the president of Ludhiana Urban-2 that includes Ludhiana south and Ludhiana east constituencies.

It is worth mentioning that Gurdeep Singh Gosha was booked in an abetment to suicide case which was registered at division number 1 police station. Gosha was named in the suicide note by the deceased, Santokh Sukhana.

Baljit Singh Chhatwal has been made the president of Ludhiana Urban-3. He will be working to promote the party in Ludhiana central and northern areas.

Cabinet minister Sharanjeet Singh Dhillon said that Yadwinder Singh Yadu is president for Ludhiana Rural-1 including Sahenewal, Khanna, Samrala and Payal constituencies while Manpreet Singh Talwandi has been appointed president of Ludhiana Rural-2 that includes the areas of Gill, Dakha, Raikot and Jagraon constituencies.

Besides, Veerpal Singh has been given the charge of president of Moga rural, he said.

According to Dhillon, a core committee which will have eight members would take the further decisions about the teams of the other zones. He claimed that the new teams of all the zones will be announced before Lohri.

Tarsem Singh Bhinder, the president of Malwa Zone-3, said the areas of Ludhiana urban were very large due to which they divided it into three parts.
