SAD-BJP working on developmental projects in state, says Maluka

Rural development and panchayat minister Sikander Singh Maluka on Saturday said development of Payal tehsil would be the focus of the government, and the area would get all required amenities in the near future. Maluka, who came to Rabbo Uchhi village in Malaud area of Payal tehsil on Baba Maharaj Singh's martyr day on Saturday, said SAD-BJP government in the state under leadership of chief minister Parkash Singh Badal had been able to fulfil several promises.

Maluka also said the SAD-BJP government had made a point to observe the martyrs day of those, who sacrificed their lives for their people and country.

Punjab legislative assembly speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal, who was also present during the function, said the government had also approved six Industrial Training Institute (ITI) for the state. Of these one would be opened at Payal, he added.

“A Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) in the area has also been planned that will immensely benefit the residents of the area and its adjoining areas,” Atwal said.

He said that state government was working hard to improve the situation of the people of Payal Tehsil by building and planning infrastructural projects here.
