SAD ex-minister Harbans Lal in Jagmeet Brar camp
Expelled Congress leader Jagmeet Singh Brar has deputed former Shiromani Akali Dal minister Harbans Lal, a three-time MLA from Sirhind, as the organiser for the May 21 conference at Chappar Chiri. Lal joined the Brar camp on Wednesday.

Brar is holding the conference to announce his future course of action after expulsion from the Congress.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, Brar said he has no plans to launch his own party. “There are speculations that I may go to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) but neither the AAP nor I have contacted each other. The May 21 rally is my way to test my popularity in Punjab,” he added.
He pointed out at massive preparations were on for the rally and coordinators have been appointed in different regions and parliamentary constituencies to mobilise crowd.
