Senior Akali leaders’ kin at core of SAD youth wing

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal announced a 40-member core committee of the Youth Akali Dal (YAD) on Wednesday, roping in relatives of some senior party leaders and legislators.

The committee includes parliamentary secretaries Amarpal Singh Bony Ajnala and Manjit Singh Mona, legislators Manpreet Singh Ayali, Baljit Singh Jalalusma, and Harpreet Singh Kotbhai; and Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal, who is son of assembly speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal.

The relatives adjusted included Harinderpal Singh Chandumajra (son of MP Prem singh Chandumajra), Dilraj Singh Bhundar (son of Rajya Sabha member Balwinder Singh Bhunder), Ravikaran Singh Kahlon (son of former speaker Nirmal Singh Kahlon), Barjinder Singh Brar (son of senior minister Tota Singh), Rakhwinder Singh Gabria, (son of Hira Singh Gabria), and Bobby Badal (cousin of Sukhbir Badal).

The others include Kanwarjit Singh Rozi Barkandi, Sarbjot Singh Sahbi, Parminder Singh Brar, Parambans Singh Bunty Romana, Harpal Juneja, Tarsem Singh Bhindar, Satbir Singh Khattra, Amrinder Singh, Vinarjit Singh Goldy, Satgur Singh Anmol, Gurinder Singh Bhatti, Gurpreet Singh Rajukhanna, Yuvraj Bhupinder Singh, and Ravipreet Singh Sidhu.

Sukhman Singh Sidhu, Harmeet Singh Dhillon, Kulwant Singh Kanta, Harpreet Singh Basant, Balkar Singh Brar, Gurpreet Singh Banawali, Nardev Singh Maan, Tarlok Singh Bathh, Ranjit Singh Khojewal, Manjinder Singh Dhillon, Satpal Singh Toor, Harkomaljit Singh Romi, Baldev Singh Khehra Phillaur, Harinder Singh Dhindsa, and Jaspinder Singh were also included.
