Noted film director Manmohan Singh, on Friday, along with inspector general of police (IGP), counter- intelligence , Jitendra Jain, released a short film made by IGP's son Abhinandan Jain.
The nine-minute documentary film titled "Dreams Unlimited" is aimed at highlighting the dreams of teenagers and the immense strength among the teenagers, which is being spoiled by bad habits such as drug addiction and excessive use of electronic gadgets such as computers and mobile phones. Abhinandan, 16, had played the main role in the film which has been directed by IGP Jain.
Speaking on the occasion, Manmohan Singh said that film is a sincere step in the direction of making he youth of Punjab realize the immense strength they have because the youth in Punjab is facing several challenges these days which needed to be highlighted.
Abhinandan, a student of Class 12 at a private school here, said that he got the idea of the film after coming across various issues of the youth highlighted by the media and he decided to make the film for which he got support from parents and teachers. The film has been shot in various educational institutions in Bathinda and IGP aims to distribute it in educational institutions to make aware the youth and students.
