Sixty-six home guards inducted

Deputy commissioner Ashish Singhmar in a convocation ceremony of the sixty-six home guards from Chamba, Hamirpur, Una and Kangra districts at their Amtar center on Wednesday praised them for their selfless and efficient duties for the state and the nation.

Deputy commissioner Ashish Singhmar in a convocation ceremony of the sixty-six home guards from Chamba, Hamirpur, Una and Kangra districts at their Amtar center on Wednesday praised them for their selfless and efficient duties for the state and the nation.

The guards completed their six months training.

The deputy commissioner directed the commandant home guard Umapati Jambal to prepare a detailed list of problems being faced by home guards, in order to solve those problems.

Jambal said that the guards were given training in several other fields, apart from the police force training.
