To ensure that 100% voters in the district link their voter identity cards with Aadhaar cards, the district administration will organise special camps at polling stations across the district on July 5 from 9am to 5pm.
Deputy commissioner Kamal Kishore Yadav said the camps were being organised under the National Electoral Purification and Authentication Programme.
"Booth level officers of the relevant constituency will also visit these camps at the polling stations and resolve grievances, if any. Voters, those above 18, can fill and deposit Form number 6, at these camps," the DC said.
He added that the district election officer said voters could SMS their relevant Aadhaar card information on the number 51969. People could also call on toll-free number 1950 and register relevant information on their Aadhaar card.
Figures available with the district administration shows that details of 11,27,956 voters have been fed into the database for linking them with the Aadhaar number, the mobile number and the email with that of the voter-list.
The administration has appealed to political parties, booth level agents, volunteers, social welfare organisations to cooperate with the booth level officers at these camps.
