Passengers travelling in Delhi-Ludhiana Shatabdi Express today complained that the prestigious train made a special halt at Udham Singh Wala station allegedly for a local Congress MP.
They complained that the train made a special stoppage for Congress MP Vijay Inder Singla at the railway station where his cavalcade was waiting for him.

Station master Arun Kumar, however, said the train had to halt because of heavy rail traffic.
Meanwhile, when contacted by reporters, Singla evaded a direct reply saying he has talked to railway officials regarding the long pending demand of the stoppage of the train at the native place of martyr Shaheed Udham Singh.
