The state services selection board has decided to conduct test for 476 more posts in different categories during the current fiscal year.
This was stated by the newly appointed chairman of the board, Jog Raj Thakur, while talking to reporters here on Tuesday. He said that the board had already advertised 1,380 posts and most of them being that of clerks and supervisors.
Thakur said that he was in support of complete transparency in the selection of the candidates and to provide best lot for the state. He said that the board would also get support from the HP Public Service Board in improving its working and the chairman of the commission had assured full support to the board in its endeavour.
He added that the board was going to put its services online for the benefit of the candidates. Thakur said that Kamal Sharma, IAS, had been appointed as the new member of the board. "Sharma will take over his new assignment shortly," he added.
