Stranded Jet Airways passengers in Chandigarh get back their luggage from Jaipur

All the 20 passengers of JetAirways 9W 2262 Jaipur to Chandigarh, whose baggage was offloaded in Jaipur on Tuesday without their knowledge, received it back at 1am on May 10.

The passengers were left stranded at the Chandigarh international airport on Tuesday after the airline left their baggage behind.

They were told that the plane’s temperature had increased, due to which part of the luggage was offloaded in Jaipur. The airlines had loaded the bags through a different aircraft via New Delhi.

The luggages were delivered to the passengers, wherever they were in or around Chandigarh, confirmed the officials of Jet Airways.

After high drama was witnessed on Tuesday, all the aggrieved passengers were also compensated with Rs 1,000.
