Police on Saturday booked eight Class-12 pass-outs of a private school near Ishmeet Chowk in Shastri Nagar area for morphing their former teacher’s pictures and posting them on social networking site Facebook by creating her fake account.

The accused have been identified as Mehakdeep Singh, Arun, Nirmal Singh, Aatish Saini, Jaskaran Bedi, Rajat Sahni, Rishav Gautam and Tanish Jolly.

The woman teacher in her complaint alleged that the accused used to send her indecent and vulgar messages through social networking sites.

Following the complaint, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar police have registered a case under Sections 66 (computer related offences), 67 (punishment for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form) and 68 of the Information and Technology Act 2000 and Section 294 (obscene acts and songs) of the IPC against all eight students.
