Sukha Kahlon murder case: Accused gangster Neeta Deol produced in court at Moga

Gangster Kulpreet Singh alias Neeta Deol, a resident of Moga, who was booked and arrested for the murder of notorious gangster Sukhbir Singh Kahlwan alias Sukha Kahlon, was produced in a court here under tight security on Tuesday.

The police brought Neeta Deol to the court of additional chief judicial magistrate Sanjita from the modern jail of Faridkot. A case was registered against him in the Moga Sadar police station under sections 323 and 342 of the IPC on March 2, 2011 in this regard.

The court fixed June 22 for the next hearing in the case. Sukha Kahlwan was allegedly murdered on January 21 near Phagwara in Kapurthala district.

The police had registered a criminal case against Neeta Deol in this regard on the same day at Phagwara police station.

According to the police, after allegedly murdering Sukha, Neeta had allegedly left the country and when he came back to India from Dubai on April 22, the police arrested him from Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport in Amritsar.

The police had also registered another criminal attempted murder case against him at Sadar police station in Kotkapura in Faridkot district on April 4.

On the other hand, Neeta Deol is also facing a court trial under the arms Act case which was registered against him by the police at Malout police station in Muktsar district on April 24, 2012.
