Emergency ward of Pathankot civil hospital vacated, rush at Attari petrol pump

The emergency ward of Pathankot civil hospital has been vacated and the patients undergoing treatment have been shifted to other wards.

The emergency ward of Pathankot civil hospital has been vacated and the patients undergoing treatment have been shifted to other wards.

“Eight beds will remain vacant for any war-like emergency,” SMO Dr Bhupinder Singh told Hindustan Times. The staff has been asked to remain on duty and leaves have been cancelled. Borders residents have been asked to remain alert.

In the border district of Attari, heavy rush was seen at the petrol pumps as people turned up in droves to get their vehicles filled up.
