Health officials had sent the sample of the patient to a Chandigarh laboratory on Friday. The reports received by the hospital on Monday evening confirmed that the patient is suffering from swine flu.

District epidemiologist Dr Ramesh Bhagat said all those who have came in contact with the person would be administered Tamiflu.
