Textile manufacturers to showcase advanced machines at expo today

Established in 1943, the Indian Textile Accessories and Machiner y Manufacturer s ’ Association (ITAMMA) is one of the organisers of the show.
“During the past two decades, the demand for quality textile spares and retrofitting assemblies to help the user achieve their set targets of cost effective quality production has increased drastically,” said one of the organisers, adding the session would include machines and spare-parts manufacturers, dealers, traders and textile manufacturers, consultants, among others. Diven Dembla, president, ITAMMA, said, “The members of the textile industry will get an opportunity to see advanced machines and accessories from the field of textiles.”
“As many as 64 exhibitors and more than 500 visitors are expected to attend the interactive session,” he said.
Rajiv Garg, managing director, Garg Acrylics, one of the leading textile manufacturers in north India, will inaugurate the show. Besides, a mill visit to Garg Acrylics Ltd was also organised for all the members of ITAMMA on Saturday.
The objective of the visit was to provide a platform for the participants on the operations and functioning of mills.
