Thirteen accused in Ludhiana nude dance party case get bail

The court of chief judicial magistrate (CJM) Ranjiv Kumar has granted bail on Monday to all 13 accused of nude dance party. All the accused were sent to jail on judicial remand on Sunday.

All the accused including, the women, have filed bail application before the court on Sunday. After hearing the arguments the court has accepted bail applications of all the accused.

On the other hand, the police have learnt involvement of two more accused in the matter during the probe. The police have launched a manhunt for the arrest of the accused. The police suspect that the accused used to supply women to such nude dance parties. They are also involved in flesh trade.

Assistant commissioner of police (ACP, South) Rajinder Singh Cheema said, the police have found involvement of two more accused, whose names cannot be disclosed yet. He said the police will arrest them soon.

It is pertinent to mention that the Focal Point police have arrested Satnambir Singh owner of hotel Grand Palki, manager of the hotel Bachan Singh and Vijay Garag, Nain Bas, Pawitter Singh, Rajwinder Singh, Kewal Krishan, Sandeep Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Sadesh Rana, Jyoti Rani and Sonia on Saturday late after raiding at the hotel and have arrested all the accused in indecent condition. The police have also recovered seven bottles of liquor from the spot.

A case under sections 3, 4 and 5 of the immoral trafficking act and the excise act was registered against the accused in this context. The police had produced the accused before the court on Sunday. The court had sent all the accused to jail on judicial remand.
