Three arrested with 400 gm heroin

The crime investigation agency of rural police arrested three persons after recovering 400 gm heroin from them on Wednesday. The accused have been identified as Durgesh Kumar, a resident of Rohini in New Delhi, Vipan and Manpreet Singh of Jalandhar.

CIA's sub inspector Jarnail Singh said Kumar had been in Tihar jail in a heroin smuggling case and had come out recently. Singh said that on Wednesday, Kumar was camping in Lambra to deliver supply of 300 gm heroin and was nabbed red-handed. He had also supplied 100 gm heroin to Vipan and Manpreet two days ago and they had also been arrested. Separate cases have been registered under various sections of NDPS Act.
