Punjab Agricultural University's (PAU) Home Science College kickstarted its annual three-day art and craft exhibition on Tuesday. Organised with an aim to boost confidence of hundreds of its students, it showcases various rare artefacts, put on display by the final year students, available for sale.
The students, while presenting their products, said such platforms apart from boosting their talent, provide an opportunity to know where you stand. "Getting feedbacks from the visitors help you a lot,"the students said, who took several weeks to prepare their respective items.
Shruti Gupta, a student, underlined that it is a learning experience to be a part of such exhibitions. "I am grateful to my professors who taught that creativity knows no bound and without being creative, one may lose the game."
Narinderjit Kaur, a professor and public relations officer of the department, said, "All students were excited for this exhibition and since morning, visitors have been appreciated their work."
Meanwhile, the exhibition was inaugurated by PK Dhillon, wife of PAU vice-chancellor BS Dhillon, who appreciated the students for their efforts.
