The Amritsar city police have arrested three persons in connection with the assault on woman tourists from Delhi. The three accused have been identified as Surinder Kumar Arora, Sahil Arora, both residents of Batala Road, and Arjun, a resident of Gawal Mandi.

A case has been registered against them at the Civil Lines police station on the complaint of Hari Radhe, a resident of Delhi.

The complainant alleged that the accused beat up the victims, teased them and tore the clothes of his daughter. He added that when his sister came to their rescue, the accused assaulted her. The accused fled away when the victims later shouted for help.
