Three men sodomise youth in Ludhiana

Three men sodomised a 22-year-old sweeper in a house on Bahadurke Road after fastening his hands and legs with a piece of rope on Wednesday night. The accused called him to the house on the pretext of cleaning the house.

The victim, who is a resident of Chitti Colony, used to work as a sweeper in a factory. He is under treatment at civil hospital and his condition is said to be serious.

In his complaint to the police, he said, “On Wednesday evening, his neighbour Sushil Kumar alias Sheela called me and said that he had a work for me. Sheela said that I had to clean a house on Bahadur Ke road for which the house owner will pay me. Sheela ferried me to that place. Three persons were already present there who overpowered me. They fastened my hands and legs with rope and poured
liquor in my mouth before doing the act.”

In the morning, they threw him at the periphery of Chitti Colony village and fled. Following this, he called the police and registered a complaint.

The Ladhowal police have registered a case under Sections 377 (sodomy), 342 (illegal confinement) and 34 ( Acts by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against Sushil Kumar and three unidentified accused.

Sources said the police have nabbed two of the accused.The victim said when police called Sushil Kumar following his complaint, he thrashed him in front of cops.

ASI Sukhwinder Singh, who is investigating the case, said, “The police have booked Sushil and three unidentified accused. The house where the accused have committed the crime belongs to a person named Ravi. The police will arrest the accused soon.”
