Three mobile snatchers held in Fatehgarh Sahib

Police arrested three mobile phone snatchers near gurdwara Bibangarh on Tuesday. The accused identified as Gursewak Singh, Kaminder Singh and Deepa Singh, all residents of Mehmudpur village were booked for theft after a complaint from one Ranvir Singh of Sirhind.

Police said the accused snatched Ranvir’s phone when he was on his way to Sirhind from Dusshera ground on October 6.

Police on a tip off, put a naka near gurdwara and called Ranvir on the spot. Ranvir identified the accused and police recovered eight mobile phones from them. The accuses later admitted to the crime and were sent to judicial custody by a local court.
