Three test positive for swine flu, total diagnoses touch 50

With three more patients testing positive for swine flu on Wednesday, the total number of diagnosed patients reported from Ludhiana hospitals has now reached to 50.

With three more patients testing positive for swine flu on Wednesday, the total number of diagnosed patients reported from Ludhiana hospitals has now reached to 50.

A 34-year-old man from Qilla Mohalla, a 67-year-old man from Chhowani Mohalla and a 56-year-old woman from Dugri are the latest patients to be diagnosed.

The men are admitted in Dayanand Medical College and Hospital and woman is undergoing treatment at Pancham Hospital.

Out of total 50 cases, 23 patients belonged to Ludhiana district and other 27 from the other districts of the Punjab. Swine flu has claimed 12 lives till now in Ludhiana hospitals.
