Torn pages of ‘gutka’ (a small book of essential verses from Guru Granth Sahib) were found in Bhagta Bhai Ka village on Saturday evening. This is the second such episode within three days in the same village.

As many as 39 pages of gutka were found scattered alongside the road in the village. The pages bear slogans such as ‘RSS Jindabad’ and abusive language written on these.

Bathinda SSP Swapan Sharma said a case against unidentified people has been registered under section 295 A for hurting religious sentiments.

Fifty-two torn pages of ‘gutka’ were found in the same village three days ago on June 21 and a case was registered.
