Tributes continue to pour in for former president Kalam

Schools across the city continued paying homage to former president and renowned scientist APJ Abdul Kalam, who passed away on Monday following a cardiac arrest.The staff and the students of MGM Public School, Dugri paid tribute to the Bharat Ratna recipient Kalam by respecting his wish to 'work an extra day', on his demise.

A special assembly was conducted in Kalam's memory during which principal Poonam Sharma, highlighted his unending mission of igniting the young minds. The students and faculty of Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town and Spring Dale Public School today observed 2 minute silence on Wednesday to commemorate the 'missile man'
