Two Punjabi University teachers to be honoured at state-level function

Two teachers of the Punjabi University will be honoured for their contributions in the field of literature at the state-level Independence Day celebrations in Ludhiana on Thursday.

Two teachers of the Punjabi University will be honoured for their contributions in the field of literature at the state-level Independence Day celebrations in Ludhiana on Thursday.

Punjabi assistant professor Rajwant Kaur 'Punjabi', has 12 books to her name, and has translated several Hindi, Urdu and Persian literary pieces into Punjabi language. Religious studies professor Mohammad Habib will be honoured for translating original Sufi literature in Punjabi language.
